Autumn and spring are the most active Northern Light seasons. At the end of August, it is dark enough to see the Northern Lights playing in the sky. In autumn, In autumn, it is possible to see the northern lights not only dancing in the sky, but also reflected on the surface of the lake.

When summer turns to autumn, the amazing colors of the fall surround us. The best autumn colors are around the first two or three weeks of September. We are able to see autumn colors on the ground for a long time in autumn. Just before the snow, the frost turns nature into beautiful white if we're lucky. We usually have snow from the middle to the end of October. Autumn varies year to year.

Autumn in great time to learn about the local culture. Our life goes strongly according to the cycle of the year and the seasons. Living alongside with nature and feeding ourselves what it has to offer is part of our culture. In autumn you can pick wild berries, mushrooms and herbs with a local guide or we might catch a fish. You can learn about the traditional reindeer husbandry during the reindeer farm visit. Later in the evening we will enjoy dinner made from the delicacies that nature offered us earlier and other local delicacies, under the Northern Lights, if we are lucky. We will explore the closest national park and the open tundra.

• When booking, select the start date from the calendar.

• The tent is heated by a wood-burning stove. There will be fire when you arrive. You need to add more firewood into stove, also during the night.

• The tent is heated also with another method, when needed.

• There is electricity in the tent.

• There is no shower or other running water in the tent (outdoor sauna x1 included).

• There is no cooking facility in the tent (full board meals included).

• Please let us know your special dietary needs.

• There is a dry outdoor toilet for your private use.

• The northern lights are natural phenomena, their appearance cannot be guaranteed
